Healthy people with salmonella often have fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea and vomiting. and abdominal pain. In rare cases, infection with salmonella can cause the organism to enter the bloodstream and produce more serious diseases such as arterial infections (such as infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.”
