Kia's EV9 SUV will arrive in the US in the second half of 2023

Just two weeks after Kia released a European window for the EV9 version, the automaker has revealed when American drivers will be able to get behind the wheel of the electric SUV. It was said at the New York Auto Show that the EV9 is coming to the US in the second half of 2023.

Kia has not announced any other details at the show, such as Auto record Notes, in the sense that prices are still unknown. However, at least the time frame has been narrowed.

The automaker didn’t spill the beans on how the road-ready version of the EV9 differs from the box concept model. In November, Kia showed the EV9 concept car, which had a 27-inch head-up display and a yoke-shaped wheel. She said the EV offers up to 300 miles of range and a 350kW charge boosts the battery level from 10 percent to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
