The Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet is hosting an exciting virtual reality experience over the Easter weekend. The popular shopping destination has teamed up with Jasmin Vardimon – world-renowned for its dance scene – to welcome “Alice in VR Wonderland” to the Ellesmere Port location.
It takes place between April 8 and April 17 with fans invited to enter a specially designed truck for a 20-minute experience. Using a VR headset and 3D audio, visitors will immerse themselves in the stunning wonderland of 360-degree virtual reality and feel up close with the talented artists from Jasmin Vardimon.
Alice in VR Wonderland, adapted from the timeless tale by Lewis Carroll, will be on site for ten days to provide some Easter holiday entertainment for the whole family. In addition, Jasmin Vardimon is set to host two workshops for local children aged 7-11 and 12-18 respectively.

These closed workshops will allow a total of 60 emerging artists from Action Transport Theatre, based in the city, to experience 360 cameras, while demystifying the world of dance theater for younger audiences.
Elsewhere, Chester Zoo has announced an exciting Easter period for visitors – with more than 100 pop-up events. The zoo kicks off the holiday with an amazing tale that runs through May 2.
From singing and dancing to puppets and performances, there will be a wide range of daily activities for families to enjoy. The experts at the zoo are looking to “re-ignite the imagination” of visitors and inspire young people to take action to conserve wildlife.
