Glassnode data shows that the average number of bitcoins minted over a 30-day period currently stands at 900 BTC, worth $35 million — just 0.14% of the $24.7 billion bitcoin 24-hour trading volume. It averaged over 12,000 bitcoins 10 years ago, over 4,000 bitcoins between 2013 and 2016, and over 2,000 bitcoins before 2020.
