Alignment of Jupiter and Neptune could bring good fortune for months, astrologers say

If ever there was the right time to seize the day, go for it — since you might not get another chance for 166 years, astrologers think.

So if you’re considering changing jobs or overhauling your love life, it’s written in the stars that you need to act now.

The planets Jupiter and Neptune align every 13 years, but their auspicious meeting yesterday in the constellation Pisces — where they are most “at home” — last happened in 1856 and won’t happen again until 2188.

And ethereal experts say the happy effects can last for months.

Daily Mail astrologer Oscar Cainer said, “Jupiter and Neptune are rulers of Pisces, meeting for the first time in 166 years in Pisces.

“They meet in other signs, but they are at home, which means they are more powerful and their influence is greater.

The planets Jupiter (left) and Neptune (right) line up every 13 years, but their auspicious meeting yesterday in the constellation Pisces — where they are most “at home” — last occurred in 1856 and will not be until take place again in 2188.

‘Jupiter stands for dreams and imagination and feelings. It’s about pushing boundaries. Neptune can represent bliss and enchantment and glamour.’

Mr Cainer advised: ‘The combination of the two can mean a lot of fun and excitement.

“But it’s also a quick thing that might not last long, so take advantage of it while it lasts.

‘If you have an idea about what future you want or are pursuing a scenario, seize the opportunity – be it work or emotional life.’

Jupiter takes 12 years to orbit the sun, meaning it spends 12 months in each of the 12 constellations.

It entered the “dreamy” Pisces on December 28 last year.

The more distant Neptune takes 165 years to complete orbit, meaning it spends more than 13 years in each zodiac constellation.

Yesterday they met at the same height in the sky, marking a celestial event that last happened when Florence Nightingale carried her lamp.

Mr Cainer added: “These planets move quite slowly and when they converge in the sky, their effects can manifest in events lasting several months on either side.”

Favorable events in 1856 included the signing by Russia of the Treaty of Paris on March 30, ending the Crimean War. Queen Victoria also introduced the Victoria Cross that year.

However, in January, astrologer Yasmin Boland wrote in the Mail that the conjunction of the two planets “has two sides.”

She said, “The negative side of Neptune is all about illusion, deceit and disappointment, so don’t be surprised if you experience disappointment.”
